Veppam Poo Thogayal

Ingredients:

  1. Veppambu - 6-7 tablespoons
  2. Red chillies - 4-5
  3. Asafoetida - 2 pinches
  4. Tamarind - one medium lemon-sized
  5. Salt - as needed
  6. Oil - 2 tablespoons

Method:

  1. Fry veppambu, red chillies, and asafoetida in oil.
  2. Grind them along with tamarind and salt.
  3. Thogaiyal is ready. Mix it with rice and ghee/nallennai and enjoy.
