Ingredients: Ginger - 50 gm Urad Dal - 4 tsp Red Chilly - 5 Tamarind - 1 small gooseberry size Asafodeita - 1/4 inch piece Gingely Oil - 2 tsp Jaggery powder - 1 tsp Preparation: Wash ginger and peel the skin. Cut into small pieces. In a pan heat 1 tsp of oil and fry the ginger till it turns crispy. Heat the reamining oil and fry asafodeita, urad dal and red chilly and roast it till it turns golden brown. Turn off the stove and let it cool. Grind the roasted ingredients along with ginger tamarind salt and jaggery to a coarse paste. |
