Sweet Thengai Sadam

This is one mixed rice, that is very easy to make during festivals, especially during Varalakshmi Viratham or Vinayaka Chaturthi as Thenga Pooranam is made for Kozhukattais. 

Ingredients:
Rice - 1 cup
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Cashew Nuts - 12 nos

Method:
Pressure cook rice and mash it well with 2 tbsp of ghee. Mix in the thengai pooranam and mix thoroughly. Break cashewnuts into pieces and fry in the remaining ghee and add it to the rice. 

Note: Increase or decrease the quantity of thengai pooranam according to one's taste
