Rawa Ladoo with grated coconut.

Rawa Ladoo is one of the favourite dishes made during any festivals. Making it using grated coconut makes it even more a delicacy. 

Rawa - 1 cup
Grated Kopra - 3/4 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 6 tbsp
Hot Water - 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Cashew Nuts - 12 nos

In a dry pan fry the grated Kopra till they turn slightly golden in colour. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee and fry broken cashew nuts. Drain the cashews and set it aside. Add another 3 tbsp of ghee and reduce the flame. Add the rawa and roast it for a while. Add the fried cashew nuts and mix well. Transfer it to a shallow bowl and add the powdered sugar, grated coconut and cardamom powder and mix well. Heat the remaining ghee and add it to the bowl and mix well. Add the hot water evenly on the bowl and mix well again. Make small balls of the mixture. 

Press them pretty tight so that the balls does not loose shape. Keep aside and let it cool. Store in an airtight container. 

Handle this with care as coconut is added to it. Do not use wet hands. Store it in an airtight container.
