Onion Raitha - Method 1

Simple and easy to make Raitha, I wonder, how I missed posting this for I make this quite often. There are two methods of making this and this one which is a raitha with raw onions goes well with any kind of biriyani or pulav. 

Onions - 4 to 6
Salt to taste
Green Chillies - 2 nos
Curd - 2 cups
Curry Leaves a few
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup finely chopped
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Slice onions thinly. Add salt to it and toss well. Cut green chillies into pieces. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when it splutters add green chilles and remove from flame. Spread curry leaves on the onion and pour the oil on top of it and mix well. Add 1/2 cup of water to the curd and beat well to thick paste consistency, add the curd to the onions and mix well. 

Refrigerate it. Before serving add finely chopped coriander leaves.
