Potato and Carrot Puree Soup for Babies

The root vegetables of Potatoes and Carrots can be pureed and fed to babies as a lunch time food. Adding a small portion of mashed cooked rice and dal makes it a complete filler. 

Ingredients:
Potato - 1 no. 
Carrot - 1 no.
Turnip - 1/2
Water - 1/4 cup
Salt - a pinch
Pepper Powder - a pinch

Method:
Peel and dice the potatoes, carrots and Turnip. Boil them in enough water till they become soft. Blend them to a puree along with salt. Add enough water and pepper powder. Boil the puree to make it a bit thick. Serve it hot. 

If you are adding cooked rice and cooked dal, mash them thoroughly and add 1/4 cup water and mix it with the puree.
