Whenever we need to make any easy stuffing for sandwich or whenever a quick and fast side dish is required for chappati or whenever we need to make rolls, this masala comes in handy. Every house hold is sure to have the main ingredient of this dish Potatoes.

Potato - 1 kg
Tomato - 1/4 kg or 4 nos medium sized
Green Chillies - 2 nos
Red Chilly poowder - 1 no
Salt to taste
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - finely chopped 1/4 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp

Pressure cook peel and mash the potatoes. Puree the tomatoes. Chop the green chillies finely. In a pan heat oil and when hot add the green chillies and saute little, add the tomato puree and salt and bring it to a slight boil. Add Coriander powder, Jeera powder and red chilly powder and mix well. Add the mashed potato, mix to ensure every thing is mixed well. Add little salt if needed after tasting it. It should not be watery
but thick in consistency so that balls could be made.

This masala could be used as stuffing in samosas, and sandwiches

If you want to have it as a side dish for roti or chappati then add little water and bring it to a boil.
For side dishes of roti chappati or to add it to roll or as side dish for Masala Dosa then you can add onions and peas too.
