One of the spicy chutneys that goes very well as a side dish with steaming hot idly or dosa. Ingredients: Shallots or Small Onions - 12 nos Big Onion - 1 no Red Chillies - 2 nos Curry Leaves - few Salt to taste Oil - 2 tbsp Method: Peel and chop the big onion. Peel the small onions and cut them half or 1/4th depending upon the size. In a pan add oil and fry onions, red chillies and curry leaves. When cold add salt and grind it to a fine paste without adding water. |
