For quite some time I have been doing Oats Dosai. But I want to try out the karaicha dosai method which was given in a magazine. And here is how I made it. Ofcourse because of the improper consistency during the first time, it didnot come out well. But after a few more trials, I ended up making proper dosais. Let me share the picture soon and here is the recipe for the same. Ingredients: Oats - 1 cup (heaved) Rice flour - I used processed rice flour - 1/2 cup Sour Curd - 1/4 cup Green Chillies - 4 nos Jeera - 2 tbsp Curry leaves - 1/2 cup Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup Ghee - 1 tbsp Method: Soak Oats for 15 mins. Grind it to a fine paste. Add rice flour, salt and sour curd. Mix and beat it to a fine paste. Chop the green chillies. Heat ghee in a laddle add green chillies, jeera and finely chopped curry leaves and fry a little. Add it to the batter. Add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Let it set for about 30 mins before making dosais. Make thin dosais. Serve with Onion Chutney or Tomato curry. |
