Recipe to make Mysore Pa in Microwave

Though I make Mysore Pa the traditional way very often, I also make in microwave when I have to make a small quantity or in a jiffy. This is one sweet, that needs to be made quite carefully. I want to perfect it before posting it here.

Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Flour - 1 cup
Ghee (melted) - 3/4th cup
Sugar - 2 to 2.5 cups
Water - 1/2 cup

Method:
In a microwave glass bowl add 1/2 cup of ghee and heat it in microwave for 30 seconds or till it melts. Add the Bengal gram flour to the bowl and mix well so that no lumps are formed. Microwave it in high for 1 min or till the raw smell goes. Keep this separate. In another bowl heat water and sugar for 2 mins. Mix thoroughly and microwave it for 2 more minutes and ensure that sugar is dissolved completely. Mix in the flour and ghee mixture and heat for 2 mins. Remove and stir to mix well. Add the remaining ghee, keep again in microwave for 5 mins. (The time varies between, 3 to 5 mins depending upon the type of the oven). It should be def removed when the mixture reaches honey comb texture. 

Keep a greased plate ready, pour the mixture to the plate. Spread evenly and cut pieces even when it is hot. Remove the pieces and store when cold. 

You can sprinkle sugar on top when it is still hot.
