Lemon Dal fry

Ingredients:
Thuvar Dal - 1 cup
Lemon - 1 no
Green Chilly - 4 nos
Garlic cloves - 6 nos
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves a few
Coriander Leaves a few
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Methi seeds - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Method:
Pressure cook Thuvar Dal adding turmeric powder and methi seeds. Grind garlic, ginger and green chilly to a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan add mustard leaves and when it splutters add curry leaves and the ground paste. Saute well and add the cooked dal and 1/2 cup of water, salt and bring it to a boil. Remove from flame add finely chopped coriander leaves. When warm squeeze lemon juice. Serve with idly or dosa or even with hot rice.
