Hot and Sour Paste

In today's world every one is forced to do things very fast and quick. This applies to cooking also. But one have to take care of the family's likes and needs and also the nutritious value that they are providing. To make the morning work easy for the today's women, both working and home makers, here is a paste that can be made on week days and stored for about a week. Use this paste to make sambar or rasam or puli kootu. 

Tamrind Paste - 5 to 6 spoons (better thick paste)
Red chilly - 20 (more if you want it more spicy)
Salt - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp

Grind salt, cumin seeds dry and keep aside. Grind the tamrind and chillies together and to it add the powder and grind again to make everything blend finely.
