Easy to make Idly Milagai Podi Recipe

Kids love to have Idly and Dosa with Milagai Podi even though I make chutney or sambar. 

Urad Dal - 1 Cup
Bengalgram Dal - 1 Cup
Red Chilly - 20 to 40 (depending upon the spiciness you want)
Hing Power - 1 small spoon (if it is a solid hing - 1 small piece)
Salt as per taste

Method : 
(If you wont be using it in a short while then dont add oil to fry the ingredients).Fry the ingredients one by one in a tbsp of oil. Dont fry hing powder and salt. (You can fry the solid hing). 
Grind them into semi coarse powder.

Store in an airtight container. I make this recipe in very less quantity as I use oil to fry the ingredients. But this can also be made without using oil for frying and can be stored for a longer time.
