Besan Ladoo

Besan Ladoo or Kadalai maa ladoo, is quite different from the regular ladoo. This is one of North Indian delicacies that tastes yumm and different. During Diwali I wanted to involve kids too into making of sweets. And here comes the special of this year's (2014). 

Ingredients:  
Besan Flour - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup (reduce if the sugar is more sweet)
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp

Method:
In a hard bottom pan, heat ghee reduce flame and add besan flour. Keep stirring till all the flour is mixed with ghee and the flour turns light brown in colour. Remove from flame and let it cool. When warm add cardamom powder and powdered sugar and mix well. 

Make ladoos when still warm. Ensure you make a slightly tight balls so that when cold the ladoos dont break.
