Soup is a liquid food food. Some soup are served hot some are served cold. The soup are served along with starters and they make great appetizers too. Soups have either vegetable stock or meat stock as the base and are either thick soups or clear soups. Fresh cream or purees are used as thickening agents. Usage of flours, lentils and grains make certain soups a whole meal soups. Soups are normally made fresh and served fresh but now a days we get canned soups and soup powders too which can be either heated or added to hot water and consumed.
