Indo-Chinese Dishes

An adaptation of the Chinese cooking methods to Indian tastes is called Indo-Chinese cooking. This cuisine is beleived to have been originated from Kolkatta (Calcutta). Foods are flavoured with spices and are not traditional Chinese cuisine. The cooking method of Indo Chinese cuisine remains the same but the ingredients are highly Indianized. The Indo Chinese food is a mixture of Chinese cooking with Indian spices giving it a spicy and tangy flavour when compared to the bland original Chinese food.
